Howard Street Chicago is on Howard Street from Sheridan Road to the east and Ridge Avenue to the west.

The CTA Red Line “L” Howard Station is located in the center of this district, at the intersection of Howard Street and Paulina Avenue. This station operates both the Red and Purple Line trains. The Red Line runs 24/7, and the Purple Line offers express, weekday commuter trains downtown plus daily access to Evanston.

The CTA Bus 147 Outer Drive Express runs from Howard Street to Michigan/Ida B. Wells seven days a week.
